History of <Grim Riders>Grim Riders <GR>, was born on Nov. 21st 2005 on the Agamaggan server as a PvE guild. There we grew, and made a lot of friends in game. GR outlasted all of the top raiding guilds over and over again. Always sticking to our guns on recruitment and policy's.
Started by 2 real life friends after re-rolling from alliance on Azgalor and having very bad experiences with guilds there being selfish, and rude if you didn't follow the footsteps of the GM there.
So Phil (currently Ismael) & Dave (currently Setharius) decided to re-roll Horde and start a guild.
<GR> became a very well known guild for maturity and socialism, and our un-relaxed recruiting methods (you had to be atleast 18yrs old, have vent and required a Vent interview). At any given time vent was filled with guild members running instances and or just bullshitting. We were even known to hold a few lets get drunk and run an instance and see who falls asleep first (sorry say I lost once or twice).
Agamaggan became a very low population server and recruitment to fill the 40 man raids became very difficult. After several discussion among officers and GM we decided to inform the guild that we would be transferring to Demon Soul (this is before server character transfers) and re-rolling there under the tag <Grim Riders> once again.
Half the guild (approx. 30+/-) decided to re-roll with us and stay together. Demon Soul is where we made home for over a year, again outlasting and watching top raiding guild break up due to poor leadership, drama, and other in-guild relation problems. Once again <GR> was very well known on Demon Soul.
While residing on Demon Soul, <GR> did its best at raiding and recruiting. Completing MC, ZG, AQ20, and starting to get down bosses in AQ40 before The Burning Crusade© came out. <GR> had grown too large to keep the guild going in TBC, it became very difficult to keep a guild with 100+ members while trying to raid in 10 man content. <GR> decided to take a break from the game. <GR> has never disbanded on any server and never will. You can still <Grim Riders> on Demon Soul and Agamaggan.
Now, after a rest of about 6 months of not running a guild the 3 main leaders of <GR> are back.

We have a new focus on the game and that is PvP and all its goodness. Now re-rolled back to Alliance where it all started almost 3 years ago now.
Currently we PvP like mad and will continue to do so. We love it, especially arena's and pre-made battlegrounds, which will be ran everyday when we have enough people.
However, there maybe a PvE raid scheduled from time too time, <GR> has no intention on becoming a a full blown PvE raiding guild again. We are focused on becoming a major force to be reckoned with in the PvP aspect of The World of Warcraft©
